Solution

First of all as a project engineer i have to decide in which position of the two vehicles the crashing need to be done,for that i have to check the actual accidents data and derive the most probable positions of the two vehicles in which crash occurs.Then i have to check which are the parameters that i want to measure like forces experienced on the driver side and other passengers side for that i have to install a load sensor inside the car\'s driver and passenger locations to measure the forces.Dummies can be used to measure forces on passengers and occupants.Also, the deformation of the car is upto what extent that also is needed to measure .Test may also be done in different orientations like side impact test,pedestrian test,pole test,whiplash test,frontal offset test.Along with load sensor accelerometers and motion sensors can be installed in dummies.Also vehicle should absorb maximum energy without transmitting it to occupants.Tests can be carried out with dummies with or without seat belts to compare the impact.The rewards are on conducting the test we tend to know a lot of mishappenings which can occur and we can correct them in our vehicle model thus saving many lives.
