How can you tell whether or not youre in an inertial frame u

How can you tell whether or not you\'re in an inertial frame, using only observations made within that frame?

Solution

A inertial frame is a frame which is at rest or moving with a constant vellocity. So of I am in an iertial frame then I will feel no force in that frame. Suppose I put a ball on a fictionless floor on the frame then the ball will remain motionless until anyone apply a force on it.

But a non-inertial frame is not moving with a constant velocity, it has acceleration. So if a man or an object is in a non-inertial frame it will feel a force but he could not find the source of the force ,this is psedo force. Suppose I am riding a marry-go-round then I will feel a outward force. So this is a non-inertial frame.
