(1).Inside the electric field the electron does not accelerate.It will continue to move with constant speed.

Note : When an electron just enetr into electric field then the direction of acceleration is positive X axis.

(2).Due to electric field the force act on proton is in positive X direction.and the proton is enter into Positive Y direction.

Therefore net force on proton is in XY plane.

So, the proton moves in between +x and +y
