A die will be thrown some number of times and the object is to guess the total number of spots. There is a 1 dollar penalty for every spot that the guess is off. For instance if you guess 200 and the total is 215 you lose 15 dollars. Which would you rather have 50 throws or 100?

As the number of throw increases, chances of error also increases. That is chances that you guess total number of spot less or greater is also increases. More clearly, chance of absolute error also increases. So 50 thorws are better than 100 throws.
