T = Total solidification time in min.

Cm= modual constant (min/cm2) = 4.0 min./cm2

V= volume of the casting in cm3 A= surface area of the casting in cm2

n= exponent taken to have a value = 2

here V=30*15*2 = 9,00 cm3 and A = 2*(30*15+15*2+2*30) = 1080 cm2

So, T= 4*(900/1080)2 = 2.77 min.
