p(x) = x^4 + x^3 - 4x^2 - 4x

taking x as gcf p(x) = x( x^3 + x^2 - 4x - 4 )

to find zeros set p(x) = 0

x( x^3 + x^2 - 4x - 4 ) = 0

x^3 + x^2 - 4x - 4 = 0

possible rational roots are +- 1,2,4

x = -1 is real zero

to get other zeros divide x^3 + x^2 - 4x - 4 by (x+1) = x^2 - 4

x^2 - 4 = 0

x = + 2 , -2

therefore, 4 zeros of p(x) are

ordered pairs are (0,0) , (-1,0) , (2,0) , (-2,0) all multiplicity 1
