The highest temperatures over large area of the tropical oceans are:

10 -14 degrees celcius

15-20 degrees celcius

24-26 degrees celcius

32 -38 degrees celcius

Solution

The highest temperature over large area of the tropical ocean are 15 to 20 degrees celcius.

The area where tropical oceans cover the Earch includes tropic of cancer at 23.5 Degrees north latitude and tropic of capricorn at 23.5 degree south latidue. this almost falls on the equatorial line.

Most of the solar radiations fall on the Earth at the equator directly for almost entire year. Thus water temperature remais relatively constant and hadly exceeds 20 degrees Celcius. This happens because of heating the surface water causes the formation of a warm mass of humid air and so air cools down. This is a fact that Cooler air can hosld less moisture as compared to the warmer air, and so water vapours condense into cloud and begins falling as precipitation.

Thus due to this regulation mechanism at the surface of tropical oceans, Water temperature does not rise much above 20 degrees Celcius.

The highest temperatures over large area of the tropical oceans are: 10 -14 degrees celcius 15-20 degrees celcius 24-26 degrees celcius 32 -38 degrees celciusSo
