The role of health care services is very vital in the nation’s success and survival as a coherent democracy. Improvement in the health of masses increases their productive capacity and leads to qualitative improvement in human capital. Therefore, expenditures on health care services are important in building and maintaining a productive labor force as well as in improving lives of the people and the quality of society.

Poor health services adversely affects the quality of manpower. Good health care services increases the physical capacity of human beings and it raises the supply of healthy labour force and is, thus, a source of Human capital formation. Good health care services increases life expectancy and thus adds to the quality of life. It helps to increase the real national income of a country.

With the human resource development, the available resources can be better exploited and it will raise the national product and per capita income of the country. Accordingly, it help in building nation\'s success.
