*   The production manager for a soft drink company is considering the production of two types of soft drinks, regular and diet. The production time is 500 minutes per day. During the production process, one of the main ingredients, syrup, is limited to the maximum production capacity of 675 gallons per day. The production of a regular case requires 2 minutes and 5 gallons of syrup, while the production of a diet case needs 4 minutes and 3 gallons of syrup. Solution

For the production combination of 135 regular cases and 0 diet cases

Regular = 135

diet =0

we are given to find hich resource is completely used up (at capacity)

Syrup:

for regular syrup is 5*135 =675

for diet syrup is 3*0=0

total syrup = 675+0=675 gallons per day

and we are given syrup quantity as 675 gallons per day

We can see that syrup is completely used

Time:

for regular is 2*135=270 minutes

for diet is 4*0=0 minutes

total time =270+0=270 min

while we are given production time is 500 minutes per minute

so, time is remained

Hence , only syrup is consumed entirely .........Answer

* The production manager for a soft drink company is considering the production of two types of soft drinks, regular and diet. The production time is 500 minute
