The first strain has the genotype a- b- c- The second strain has the genotype at b+ c+ The results of the experiment are shown in this data table. From the result of the experiment it is clear that occurance of \'a\' and \'b\' crossover was maximum as 3.4+2.8+2.1=8.3. Next highest occurance is
\'b\' and \'c\'=2.8+2.3+0.095+2.1=7.295 and least is for
\'a\' and \'c\'=3.4+2.3+0.095=5.795

So the order of gene is -a-c--b-

Based on the new gene map -a-c--b-the frequency of a-b+C+ transformants will be closest to 2.8%
