After doing PCR with 4 DNA samples and a ladder, how do we know which PCR fragment has the most single stranded DNA in it?

Solution

PCR technique is used for the amplification of DNA molecules and the product is run on the agarose gel electrophoresis to visualise different sizes of DNA along with a DNA ladder.

The difference between the dsDNA and ssDNA can be determined based on the size on the agarose gel.

When both dsDNA and ssDNA ran on the gel along with DNA ladder, the ssDNA would be smaller in size due to which it runs farthest on the gel compared to dsDNA. Usually, ssDNA is less than 250bps in size.
