Workability of concrete increases with increase in water content.

Higherthe water content per cubic meter of concrete, the higher will be the fluidity of concrete, which increases the workability.

Adding excess water to concrete can have following disadvantage also

1) Increased quantity of water may cause bleeding in concrete.

2) Strength of the concrete may be reduced.
