wind pressure ( i.e. hurricane\'s destructive capacity -->h) varies directly as the square of the wind velocity (w)

Let relation between h and we be given as h = kw^2 where k is constant

If w2 = 2w1; h1 =kw1^2 ; h2 = kw2^2

Now h2/h1 = (w2/w1)^2 = (2w1/w1)^2 = 4

h2 = 4h1.

So, destructive power becomes four times when wind speed doubles
