Ans) As per ohms law current I=V/R and as Power P=V*I

I=P/V given P=2kw=2000 W and V=240 V

I=2000/240=8.33 A

Above relations holds good for resistive load other wise power factor should be kept in power.

As Heater load we can assume it to be resistive so powerfactor=1
