Many view Information Security as a cost center since in reality, the organization may never realize a return on investment unless there is a security breach. Other view it as the most important investment an organization can make given that there is very few areas where technology is not integrated.

I think that information security is the most important investment an organisation can make. As wishful it is to think that there can be no security threats on an organisation, prevention is still better than cure.
