Wire a half – adder using only NAND gates. Use the half adder’s truth table. The functions for Sum = x’y +xy’ and Carry = xy. Your circuit must use only NAND gates. NAND gates are universal gates. Draw the circuit on paper using AND, OR and NOT gates. Then replace each of those gates with NAND’s. For example an AND gate will require 2 NAND gates.
