Multipy and Simplify 4a2 3a2 12a 12 3a 6 2a Solution4a2

Multipy and Simplify:

4a2 / 3a2 – 12a +12 . 3a - 6 / 2a

Solution

4a^2 / (3a^2 – 12a +12) *(3a - 6 )/ 2a

factorise : 3a^2 -12a +12 = 3a^2 -6a -6a +12 = 3a(a-2)-6(a-2)

= (3a-6)(a-2)

So, 4a^2 / (3a^2 – 12a +12) *(3a - 6 )/ 2a

= 4a^2*(3a-6)/(3a-6)(a-2)*2a

cancel common terms in numerator and denominator

=2a/(a-2)

Multipy and Simplify: 4a2 / 3a2 – 12a +12 . 3a - 6 / 2a Solution4a^2 / (3a^2 – 12a +12) *(3a - 6 )/ 2a factorise : 3a^2 -12a +12 = 3a^2 -6a -6a +12 = 3a(a-2)-6(
