Most cells are microscopic ie they cant be seen with the nak
Most cells are microscopic (i.e. they can\'t be seen with the naked eye, requiring the use of various types of microscopes), ranging in size from about 50 microns for animal cells to as small as 1 micron for bacterial cells.
 i) Why do you think cells - animal, plant, or bacteria - don\'t get any bigger than this?
ii) Why do you think we are made of 75 trillion (75,000,000,000,000) very small cells, rather than just a bunch of very large cells?

Solution
Ans 1- The cells are very small in size and very high in number because very little size of cells helps in survival. If the size of cells becomes big and accidentally the cell dies then all the information may be lost which may lead to improper functioning of the organism.
Ans B - we are made up of about 75 trillion micro cells because we have a large variety of functions to be performed in our daily life which is possible by the large variety of different cells.
