Solution

for this analysis, the exergy equation reduces to

exergy = (h-h0) - T0(S-S0)

Using Allprops for thermodynamic properties of water

h = enthalpy of water at 100 degree and 1 bar = 2675.1 KJ/kg
h0 = enthalpy of water at 20 degree and 1 bar= 83.272 KJ/kg
S = entropy of water at 100 degree and 1 bar = 7.3582 KJ/kg-K
S0 = entropy of water at 20 degree and 1 bar= 0.29377 KJ/kg-K

T0 = reference temperrature = 20 degree = 293.15 Kelvin

exergy = (2675.1 - 83.272) - 293.15(7.3582-0.29377) = 520.89 KJ/kg

for a system consisting 2 kg of water

exergy = 2x520.89 = 1041.78 KJ
