Cell division is the process by which cell divides in two cells commonly known as daughter cells. The whole processes of cell division is divided into 4 phases viz; G1 phase, S pahse, G2 phase, M phase and Interphase. The duplicaton of spindle fibres and DNA replication mark the begining of cell division. All theses processes is carried out in G1 and S phase. The sister choromatids are synthesized in S phase ( second phase of interphase). These sister chromatids held together by cohesins proteins, gets separated during anaphase stage of the cell cycle. The main factor responsible is the degradation of cohesins proteins is separase enzymes
