Cell division is the process by which cell divides in two cells commonly known as daughter cells. The whole processes of cell division is divided into 4 phases viz; G1 phase, S pahse, G2 phase, M phase and Interphase. The duplicaton of spindle fibres and DNA replication mark the begining of cell division. All theses processes is carried out in G1 and S phase. The sister choromatids are synthesized in S phase ( second phase of interphase). These sister chromatids held together by cohesins proteins, gets separated during anaphase stage of the cell cycle.
