Under the first face of leadership, focus is made upon participative cooperation, team work and motivational inputs that is used to multiply the benefits to all. It build a strong relationship between leader and the follower that is based upon core values. Such leadership connects with everyone and like contributions from each one.

Though, leadership is not always for the right cause. Leadership is also used to manipulate the things for personal gain. It is short sighted and unethical in nature. It also brings short term relationship with followers, full of ambiguity. It build a leader follower relation that is only focused upon fulfillment of mutual benefits while using unethical means. It focuses upon a particular section of people who can fulfill the objective.

Both faces of leadership are in contrast to each other. Leadership for right causes are sustainable in long term and it is built on trust and values. But, leadership established for personal gains employs unethical practice and owns short term perspective in nature. Thus, leadership should not be considered one dimensional and only positive in nature.
