Solution

1. USE NODAL ANALYSIS

LET VOLTAGE ACROSS 30 ohm resistor is V2

use kcl

4 + 100- v1/ 20 = v1 - v 2/10

3v1 - 2v2 = 100

use kcl at node

v1 - v2/10 = v2 /30 + v2 - 50/25

solve above 2 equation

we get v2= 80 V

B) power dissipation through 30 ohm resistoor = 802 /30

= 213 W
