Solution
\"I got the flu vaccine and still got sick\"
1. Scientifically and immunologically one person exposed to a non-flu virus before or after he/she recieved flu for a shot. The flu vaccine is strong but is only meant to combat the specific flu strains it was manufactured for patient ,it canot agist non-flu viruses.
2. Another possibility is that one got sick in the small window between the patient when he/she got shot, when the vaccine began to take effect . His/her body needs about 2 weeks after the shot to build a proper protection agaisnst the virus.
3. Finally ,it is possible to contrast a strain of the flu virus that is not covered by that years vaccine .The vaccine is engineered to protect aginst the fthree strongest and most prevalent strain s that public health officials have identified for the up coming flu season.
There can still be other flu viruses circulating, and this may be what causes thae person to get sick.
