I ordered my parking permit for my college The receipt state

I ordered my parking permit for my college. The receipt states that the valid dates are from 08/17/15 to 01/10/16. The temporary permit was valid from 08/17/15 to 08/27/15. The permit I receieved in the mail stated that its valid from 09/21/15 to 01/10/15. I received a parking ticket. Can this be appealed?

Solution

If the date in the permit is not correct then it can be appealed against. This kind of error will enable you to have the ticket dismissed. So if the date is wrong fight it on that point.
