let us say t=0

then x = 4t-3 = 4*0 -3

x=-3

y = 2*0 +5

y=5

so one point is (-3,5)

for other points t=1, t=2

you can plug any value for t

x =4-3=1

y=2+5=7

point is(1,7)

plug t=2

x=4*2 -3=5

y=2*2+5 =9

point is (5,9)

b). x=cost+2 and y= cos^2t -1

plug x=0

x =1+2=3

y= 1-1=0

point is (3,0)

plug x=pi/3

x=1/2 +2 = 5/2

y = (1/2)^2 -1 = -3/4

point is (5/2, -3/4)

point is (2,-1)
