H1:p>0.5

This is right tailed test for proportions

As n =100, >30 z test can be used

p difference = 0.55-0.5 = 0.05

Std error = 0.05

The two samples are not significantly different.

As p value >0.01 there is no sufficient evidence to justify the rejection of H0 at the a=0.01 level
