The main purpose of cooling tower is to remove the excess heat generated in the industrial spaces such as electricity generating stations, power plants etc. by cooling the incoming steam from the turbines or any other devices so that the steam gets condensed by the exchange of heat process in the cooling and then the condensed fluid is sent back to the boiler so that the power plant is continuosly operated without disruption.
