1) for alpha = 0.975

alpha / 2 = 0.4875

Z = 0.03 = x - 30   / [4 / srqt (8)]

x=30.04

critical value will be : 30.04

Z = 29 - 27.5 / [4 /srqt(8) ]

Z = 1.06

probability = 0.1446

power = 1 - 0.1446 = 0.8554
