By drawing upon earlier readings as they pertain to leader-member exchange and leader effects, what do you see as the consequences stemming from the two faces of leadership?
Solution
The leader-member exchange theory is a situation in which a manager may think well of a team and give them every opportunity to grow as he trust him, on the other hand there will be team which the manager does not think well off.
This theory focuses on the relationship that develops between managers and members of their teams.
So the situation in the leader-member exchange theory shows two faces of the leader/manager. But the theory is all about considering each member of the team as individuals who are honest and hard working. And it is the responsibility of the leader to give them the equal opportunity to grow. The leader must put the right people in the right places, and it means developing and reinforcing success. Of necessity, this means that talented people will get more interesting opportunities and may get more attention than less-talented ones.
This is the main consequences that a leader face in this theory has to face. It is up to the leader how he adapts these situations and differentiates the individuals and provides justice to their skills.
