Explain the importance of correctly stating the objective fu
Explain the importance of correctly stating the objective function and constraints in linear optimization problems. Using examples from your professional experience, describe the problems that could result if the objective function and constraints are not stated properly. Why did these problems arise? Support your anecdotal evidence with support and rationale from the readings.
Solution
The importance of correctly stating the objective function helps us to search for the solution in the particular region of interest, if the constraints and objective function are not stated properly or some constraints are missing then the area of search for the variable values will increasing leading to the difficulty in solving the equations or even unable to solve the equation if there are less equations then the number or variables
If the objective function is not well defined, then the values of the variable will deviate from the global optimum solution i.e. the maximum and minimum value, if the constraints are missed, then there will be some variables whose values cannot be find out or there will be a range of values possible for some variables
