Solution

Many training classes use this very design. At the culmination of the training an evaluation is presented to the students and they are requested to fill it out, depicting their satisfaction with various factors regarding the course. Students could not very well be satisfied with or express how much they learned from the class at the beginning of the class, so in this situation a pretest would make little sense.
