Projective Geometry Math5310 2 Define a mc nd configuration

Projective Geometry Math5310

(2) Define a (mc, nd) configuration. Determine the configurations of (a) quadrilateral, (b) pentagon.

Solution

(mc,nd) configuration --> a set of m points and n lines in a plane is called (mc,nd) configuration if c of the n lines passes through each of the m points while d of the m points lie on each of n lines.

These number satisfy the equation -

mc = nd

For a quadrilateral --> (62,43).
