assume company makes x batch of Sweetish candy and y batch of SicklySweet candy.

Amount of flavouring require to make x batch of sweetish candy= 4x

Amount of flavouring require to make y batch of SicklySweet candy= 2y

Total flavouring used per day

4x + 2y = 1400 ---- (1)

Amount of sugar require to make x batch of sweetish candy =x

Amount of sugar require to make y batch of SicklySweet candy=3y

x + 3y = 600 ---- (2)

solving the equation, multiply equation 2 by 4 and substract from 1

4x + 2y = 1400

-4x - 12y = -2400

-10y=-1000

y=100

x= 300

Number of batch of SicklySweet candy = 100
