Solution

A. Inspector is needed to quote all the risk by using faulty equipment. There may be a small risk at the time of inspection but there is possibility of bigger risk when equipment got failed abruptly.so the inspector is needed to quote all risk related to equipment when it gets failed and then there is sure delay in project too.And inspector should have to quote the loss and cost of repairing , and feasibility of using new or repaired equipment so that the manager has to rely on inspector\'s report.

B.there is three options to solve the dilemma:

1.Repair the equipment then again employ with slight delay of project with no risk too.

2.purchase the new equipment immediately but it may increase the burden on contractor too again there no risk of failure.

3.use the faulty equipment with too much alertness so that there is no sudden loss of capital or human resources near construction site.

C.In my view option 1 should be obligatory and option 3 is permissible under special circumstances.

But option 2 most feasible solution .
