a. Surface area of the silo = 2*pi*r^2 + 2*pi*r*h

But we have to exclude the floor so,

SA is = pi*r^2 + 2*pi*r*h = 3.14*(33/2)^2 + 2*3.14*(33/2)*50

=6035.865 m2

b. Volume of cyliner is pi*r^2*h

= 3.14*((33/2)^2) * 50

=42743.25 m^3
