The horizontal component of force=-3.8cos40=-2.91 kN

The vertical component of force=-3.8sin40=-2.44 kN

a)Force in vector form =-2.91i -2.44j kN

Moment of force about O=2.44*5.9=14.4 kNm(anticlockwise)

Moment of force about O in vector form= 14.4 k kNm

b) force in vector form=-2.91 i -2.44 j kN

Moment of force about point B=2.91*(5.9-2.4)+2.44*5.2 =22.87 kNm

Moment about B in vector form=22.87 k kNm
