The sellers made claims that their products can treat , prevent or cure specific diseases such as anxiety , digestive problems and to improve general quality of life . However , for many traditional uses , there is not clear scientific evidence to show that they prevent or treat underlying diseases or conditions . Further , some herbal dietary supplements may interact in a potentially harmful manner with some prescription drugs . The sellers generally do not give information of adverse effects caused by dietary supplements .

2) Promotion : The company\'s representative fradulently used endorsements from high profile athletes to try to convince to purchase its supplements . Also the representative convinced that it is possible to receive free supplements if we could convince friends to purchase the product .
