A 2qt bottle of soda sells for 129 What should be the price
A 2-qt bottle of soda sells for $1.29. What should be the price of a 2L bottle of the same soda to yield the same value?
Solution
A liter is 1.0567 as much as a quart.
So 2 liters is 1.0567 times as much as 2 quarts,
so 2 liters should therefore sell for 1.0567 times as much
 as 2 quarts.
1.0567 times $1.29 is $1.363143. So if 2 liters sells for $1.36
it would be a little cheaper than by the quart, and if 2 liters
sells for $1.37 it would be a little more expensive than by the
 quart.
