As you can imagine a high force exerted by the back muscles
As you can imagine, a high force exerted by the back muscles increases the chances of injury. How could you adjust your technique to reduce the force exerted by the erector spinae muscles? Explain why
Solution
Generally speaking, lifting with arched back increases the risk of damage. Back muscles during lifting heavy weight forces the contraction of erector or spine muscles. The reason for damage is due to heavy load on spine due to lifting of weights with arched back. “ Kypotic lifting” poser has been said to be good during lifting heavy weights as it leads to less contraction of erector spine muscles. The reason of damage is because the back muscles have been located very close to the spine. These back muscles exert pressure on the spine and it leads to disk compression. These back muscles have been not that much of strong to give support during the lifting of weights.
