a) Assessment - The assessment involved pain and wound assessment. The injuries are often involves extreme pain due to loss of skin. The detailed pain assessment should be maintained at regular intervals of time starting from the patient \'s admission. The accurate documentation of wound assessment should be recorded which involves assessment of depth of injury and wound healing.

b) Management-The wound dressing should be carefully managed. The fluid balanced must be maintained as injury results in fluid loss through damaged tissue. The restoration of circulatory volume is an important factor that should be take care for severely burned patient.
