1. What should you do with the employees who are in the country illegally? Is it right to let them go and risk their families\" becoming improverished? Or would you keep them employed and look the other way with their immigration status?

2.What do you think about the disparity created by yhe way you have to pay illegal employees-not withholding taxes? Is that unfair? or is it acceptable that they dont pay social security since they would not be able to collect it when they retire?

3. Do you believe that you have an obligation not only to let them go, but also to report them to the immigration authorities? why or why not?

Solution

1. If they have been recruited as a full time employe then at any cost it is the responsibility of the company to arrange the extension on the visa so that they are not considered to be illegal.

The employee should immediately inform the company about the status and should apply for the visa.

They should not live illegaly to save tax and if they are doing so that they should be removed from the country.

2.This is wrong as it is hurting the reaerves of the goverment and is causing the disparity in the rules. Law is considered to be similar in each case and for all the people so it should not be alowed

3.Yes we do have an obligation to inform the authorities about the same as it is illegal to take benefits out of them
