Identify the zeroforce members present when the trusses show

Identify the zero-force members present when the trusses shown in the following problems are subjected to the loadings indicated. The truss shown in Hg. P7-35. The truss shown in fig. P7-36. The truss shown in fig. P7-37. The trass shown in fig. P7-38. The truss shown in fig. P7-39. The truss shown in fig. P7-40. The truss shown in fig. P7-41. The truss shown in fig. P7-42.

Solution

>> Solution 7-35

As, AG and GF are collinear and also there is no load application on either C or G,

So, CG is a zero force member

>> Solution 7 - 36

Here, FD and GB are zero force members as there other two members are collinear and doesn\'t have any load acting on this joint

>> Solution 7 - 37

Due to Symmetry and due to reasons stated above, member CG is a zero - force member

>> Solution 7 -38

As GF anf FE are collinear with no load acting on Joint F.

So, third member, FD is a zero - force member....

Identify the zero-force members present when the trusses shown in the following problems are subjected to the loadings indicated. The truss shown in Hg. P7-35.
