y = x^2 -10x +25 ----(2)

substituiting value of y in equation :

11-x = x^2 -10x+25

x^2 -9x +14 =0

factorise: x^2 -7x -2x + 14 =0

x( x-7) -2( x-7) =0

(x-2)(x -7) =0

x = 2 , 7

y = 11-x = 11-2 = 9

y = 11 -7 =4

Solution : ( x, y) = ( 2, 9) and ( 7, 4)
