If the elastic and inertia forces within a structure have to scale proportionately, howwould the angular acceleration associated with the system change with respect to physicalsize if the material remains the same?
Solution
When a torque is applied to an object it begins to rotate with an acceleration inversely proportional to its moment of inertia.
So, to keep inertia and elastic forces in proportion , accelaration should decrease with increase in physical size.
