Patient 1 Heidi Kloser a freestyle skier could not compete i
Patient 1:
Heidi Kloser, a freestyle skier could not compete in the 2014 Winter Olympics because of a right leg injury. She will have to use crutches to walk. Two weeks after using the crutches she will report “numb” fingers along with arm muscle weakness and tingling.
Part 1: Why would Heidi’s fingers become numb? Mention the specific nerve for credit!
Part 2: As her nurse, what would you advise her to end the “numbness and weakness” she is experiencing?
Part 3: Heidi does not want to take your advice, if she doesn’t would she lose LIFELONG sensation in both her arms? Why or why not? (, you need to have a “lifelong” explanation, and “both arms” argument explanation.)
Thanks.

Answer: Part 1: Why would Heidi’s fingers become numb? Mention the specific nerve for credit!
Heidi has associated with “severe damage to median nerve innervating thumb and index finger\" & damage of the motor nerves supplying the fingers from spinalchord. As a result she has \"carpal tunnel syndrome & peripheral neuropathy\", in which sensation of the fingers have damaged followed by numbness and tingling
Part 2: As her nurse, what would you advise her to end the “numbness and weakness” she is experiencing?
The major advice is given to her to end the numbness and weakness she is experiencing include maintaining adequate dietary practices such as consuming vitamins such as vitamin -E, vitamin-B-1 & B-6, and B-12 so that these vitamins are nutritional health to regain neuronal health
Part 3: Heidi does not want to take your advice, if she doesn’t would she lose LIFELONG sensation in both her arms? Why or why not? (, you need to have a “lifelong” explanation, and “both arms” argument explanation.)
The neuronal damage is irreversible and any stressor that cause nerve damage is leading permanent paralysis of that specific body part finally losing lifelong sensation so that she must compulsory follow the specific advices provided by the nurse
