Solution

a. tan = 120/60 = 2, sec^2 = 5

sec^2 d/dt = (dx/dt)/60 = v/60

5(0.4) = v/60

v = 120ft/s

b. after 2sec, tan = 240/100 = 2.4, sec^2 = 1+2.4^2 = 6.76

sec^2 d/dt = 120/60 = 2

d/dt = 2/6.76 = 0.295rad/s
