Solution

1. The primary purpose of the article is  to test the hypothesis that reduced phenotypic plasticity may be advantageous for weed suppression under high density and spatial uniformity.

2. All the treatment variables had strong and significant effects on grain yield as well as on weed biomass, but the only significant interaction for yield was density 9 variety (Table 4 in the article). Hbrido HR Oro-Amarillo benefited much less from increased density and spatial uniformity than did the other two varieties.

3. The major implications of the research is they have tried to control weed by potentially reducing the need for herbicides or mechanical weed control means where both are money consuming process.

4. The additional research that needs to be accomplished is to do piolt scale study for the hypothesis and to study on different varieties of cereal crops because it will help us to know the other interruptions in the study when performed at large scale.
