If all solutions of a trigonometric function are given by the general formula, theta = pi/3 + 2k pi or theta = 14 pi/3 + 2k pi, where k is any integer, then which of the following is not a solution of the equation? Choose the correct answer below. 32 pi/3 5 pi/3 7 pi/3 20 pi/3

Solution

When k=1 we get

Theta= pi/3    + 2pi=7pi/3

theta=14pi/3 + 2pi=20pi/3

when k =3 we get

theta= 14pi/3 + 6pi=32pi/3

Hence the correct option is 5pi/3 that is the second option

 If all solutions of a trigonometric function are given by the general formula, theta = pi/3 + 2k pi or theta = 14 pi/3 + 2k pi, where k is any integer, then wh
