sin u = - 3/5

cos u = -4/5

cos v = -24/25

sin v = - 7/25

cos ( u+v) = cos u cos v - sin u sin v

plugging the values

cos ( u+v) = (-4/5)(-24/25) - (-3/5)(-7/25) = 96/125 - 21/125 = 75/125 = 3/5

cos (u+v) = 3/5
