A set of wires that are looped together in a circular coil of radius 2mm and a total flux density of 4T had a 100-volt voltage source with the voltage phasor lagging 45? behind the current.

a) What is the current in ohms?

Solution

here 4 ohms and 4 ohms are parallel=(4*4)/(4+4)=2 ohms.

2 ohms and 10 ohms are series=2+10=12 ohms.

4 ohms and 8 ohms are series=4+8=12 ohms.

12 ohms and 12 ohms are parallel=(12*12)/(12+12)=6 ohms.

6 ohms and 4 ohms are series=6+4=10 ohms.

current I=5/10=0.5 amps.
